KSV has been named Outstanding Independent Agency at the 2025 MUSE Creative Awards, a recognition that highlights the bold, strategic, and collaborative work our team brings to clean energy marketing. This prestigious honor leads to a total of nine MUSE Creative Awards that we took home this year, celebrating standout work for partners like New York State, the NHSaves® utility partners, Mars, and PECO.

Outstanding Independent Agency, GOLD

The MUSE Creative Awards is an internationally recognized awards platform that celebrates compelling storytelling and innovative design within the world of creative design, advertising, and digital media. With entrants from around the globe and a diverse panel of International Awards Associate (IAA) judges, MUSE lauds ingenuity and bold creative choices that brilliantly redefine industry standards. As part of the IAA, MUSE strives to honor new and emerging talent in the creative advertising space. 

To be celebrated with an unprecedented nine awards in this year’s MUSE Creative Awards is an honor that we’re truly thankful for. We’re excited by the work of our fellow entrants and are encouraged to continue paving the path forward for unique and inspiring new directions in creative advertising. Furthermore, we want to especially recognize the collaborative perspectives of our clients: The partnerships we have cultivated have allowed us the space to create meaningful work in the clean energy industry that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise; one more reason we are heartily grateful for this recognition.

PECO: Elephant in the Room

The Elephant in the Room campaign for PECO was awarded two Creative Awards in these categories:

Advertising Campaign, PLATINUM

B2B energy efficiency advertising often follows a stale, predictable formula: technical jargon, dry statistics, and conventional messaging that struggles to break through to the hard-to-reach decision-makers at large commercial and industrial organizations. PECO faced this challenge head-on with a bold, humorous, and show-stealing campaign – a literal elephant in the room.  

Designed to make energy waste impossible to ignore, our elephant entered scenes of the everyday workplace – by the watercooler, at the conference table, in the warehouse – thereby serving as a visual metaphor for identifying the obvious steps leaders can take to implement energy efficiency upgrades at their facilities. By meeting decision-makers where they were, this fun and unconventional creative approach set PECO apart from traditional industry messaging and broke through the skepticism and inertia that often permeated this market.

NHSaves: “Thrival Guide”

Our Thrival Guide took home the gold in three award categories:

Advertising Campaign, GOLD

Newspaper Campaign, GOLD

Social Media: Energy, GOLD

NHSaves, a collaboration of New Hampshire’s utility partners, engaged KSV to develop a statewide awareness campaign that would increase consumer and business awareness of energy efficiency programs, drive meaningful participation, and resonate in a way that felt unique to the wide-ranging experiences of those living and working in the Granite State. 

Inspired by New Hampshire’s deep-rooted outdoor culture, we created the “Thrival Guide,” a visually rich, survival guide-inspired campaign, drawing inspiration from forestry visuals, camp iconography, and vintage maps. The Thrival Guide came to life in the form of a digital catalogue that reframed energy efficiency as an essential tool for thriving in the Granite State.

New York State: Regional Clean Energy Hubs

The New York State Clean Energy Hubs campaign secured two awards in:

Many New Yorkers want to make their homes more energy efficient, but they don’t know where to start. Between understanding taxes and assembling furniture, the modern-day responsibilities of the average adult can prove daunting, tedious, and sometimes overwhelming. Throw home improvements into the mix and things don’t get any easier.

The Clean Energy Hubs are a vital resource designed to help New Yorkers navigate energy upgrades with ease and confidence. The challenge came with turning this new initiative into a go-to resource for simplifying home energy projects. We crafted a warm, humorous, and relatable narrative that highlighted a protagonist moving through the mundane yet unavoidable challenges of adulthood. The TV spot positioned the Clean Energy Hubs as the solution, offering a simple, supportive resource to cut through the noise and stress of home improvements.

Women of Digital Mars: Brand Identity

Our work with Women of Digital Mars won one Creative Award for:

Corporate Identity: Brand Identity, GOLD

Women of Digital Mars (WODM), an associate resource group created by Mars, Inc. employees, was established to close the leadership gender gap and address disparity in the digital tech world by supporting career development and gender-inclusivity. With such an honorable mission and ethos behind their inception, WODM deserved a vibrant, cohesive brand identity and marketing collateral that sparked interest in their initiative and equipped its members with tools to unite others to their cause. 

Inspired by their message, we collaborated with WODM to equip them with a substantial arsenal of tools, including a dynamic brand story with a new look and feel, social media toolkit, social media strategy, and design recommendations. Shaina Kaye, KSV’s associate director of content strategy, noted that:

[WODM’s] passion was evident from the start of the project all the way through and provided us an opportunity to lean into that passion and really bring the group to life visually in a digital space. This empowered members to share their story and the mission of the group in a way that was accessible to them and powerful to driving their mission forward.

WODM’s trust in us to understand their mission, coupled with many conversations and collaborative thinking, resulted in a cohesive, consistent, and bold brand that captured the spirit of WODM and allowed its members to showcase their work with pride.
